books
- Special Features: The books are easy to follow
and contain large fonts. The CD-ROMS are complete with interactive
audio and graphics. They work well with touch screens and
were programmed in Macromedia Flash. Internet access is
NOT needed.

is correlated to CASAS, has a lesson plan for each title
(22 Titles) branching two reading levels, a record keeping
log, a teacher's guide, pre/post-tests and certificates

WHY THIS CURRICULUM IS IMPORTANT:
The Personal Life Skills curriculum is an interactive CD-ROM program
used to help students develop their reading and thinking ability
along with developing the knowledge they need to solve everyday
problems. There are 22 lessons in this curriculum, all of which
aim to equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to
improve their lives.
Two reading levels with sound and graphics:
Each lesson is written on Two Reading Levels. A middle school level
that then branches to a lower reading level when remediation is
needed.
A vocabulary section with sound and graphics introduces each program.
The two reading levels, extensive branching, and repetition when
necessary, assure that students will gain knowledge of the subject
while developing reading comprehension and critical thinking skills.
A companion book, which is included with each program, complements
and expands the computer instruction.
INDEPENDENT USAGE:
The materials can be used by students independently or in group
situations. They can also be used with mentors or peer tutors.
COST-EFFECTIVENESS -
UNLIMITED DUPLICATION and NETWORKING:
UNLIMITED DUPLICATION and NETWORKING is allowed AT THE PURCHASING

of any book or portion of a book that is important to their future
